Jesika and Art Wedding, a Tour de Seattle

Saturday, October 18th, 2008

Last Friday was the wedding day for Jesika and Art. Jesika and Art are a young and fun couple. I was lucky to know them through Stacy Gavino of Cherishing Moments. We started the day at a downtown men’s only hair studio for the guys’ shaving party. Yeah, guys got pampered (and their nails polished). Then we headed to Hotel 1000 (a very cool hotel) where the ladies were already there. But since Jesika and Art didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, we made sure there was on accidental encounter. There I got to meet Jesika’s beautiful bridesmaids and the cute flower girl. Later, a limo came and picked up the guys and gals in separate trips to Pier 66, the cite for the ceremony. The ceremony was held at the roof top of Pier 66 and officiated by Reverend Ray. The view was gorgerious and near the end of the ceremony, the setting sun was casting a orange warm light on the couple. It was just beautiful.

The reception was held at Pravda Studio in Capital Hill. That was my second time to the studio and I really like it. Stacy and her team did a great job decorate the place and set up the catered foods. Mike Bozinski of My Life Time Event did a great job of making the party going.

Kristy & Rebecca - an Intimate Wedding

Sunday, July 13th, 2008

It was last Monday morning. The trip started with a nice ferry ride to Bainbridge Island and a 20 minutes drive took me to The Green Cat Guest House B&B, a very pretty and cozy place with spacious yards, wooded areas on all site of the house. It was an ideal venue for a private gathering. Kristy and Rebecca had their beautiful wedding held there.

I started at the Waterfront Hair Gallery where Kristy & Rebecca got their hairs done and then went back to Green Cat B&B. Under the watchful eyes of Bridgett, their friend and the ‘unofficial’ coordinator, things were moving along smoothly. We then headed out to the beach for more photographs, on time!

The ceremony was unique…their friends and guests would come up during the ceremony and tie a colored ribbon on their wrists while they were holding their hands together. Very nice!

A Walk in the Market with Jesika and Art

Monday, April 28th, 2008

Jesika and Art was really a fun-loving, pleasant young couple. Last Saturday we did their engagement session at the Market. It was a warm and sunny day. We started off in the morning…getting some drinks from Seattle’s Best Coffee shop right across from the Market and getting the ‘Seattle’ juicy going. We found a little quietness in the Post Alley and took a lot of images there. We then walked down to the water front and had some fun time there.

Jesika and Art were referred to me by Stacy Gavino of Cherishing Moments, a full scale wedding and event planning services. I am very grateful to Stacy as Jesika and Art were very fun to work with. We just walked around and tried out a lot of ideas and having a good time. Jesika and Art will wed in October at the Bell Harbor Roof Top and Pravda Studio, another two beautiful locations. I am so looking forward to it!
