A Brisk, Colorful, and Beautiful Sunday

Monday, October 27th, 2008

We went to UW Arboretum this morning with some friends.  The cute girl is Mao Mao and she and my son Anton used to go to the same daycare before.  So today we all went to the park to catch some colors and sun.  What a nice day!  And apparently we were not alone in thinking that way.  There were a LOT of people trying to enjoy this beautiful day.

Meagan and Tom Wedding at Seattle Golf Club

Monday, October 20th, 2008

I was lucky to be part of and photograph Meagan and Tom’s wedding last week at the Seattle Golf Club.  This lovely couple was introduced to me by Jeff LaPlante who couldn’t be there by himself for that day.  Meagan’s mother, Mary, pretty much planned and coordinated every aspect of the wedding and it was a great event…simply elegant and beautiful.  There was a live band, Design Band , and they kept the party going all night.  It’s a great party!

Jesika and Art Wedding, a Tour de Seattle

Saturday, October 18th, 2008

Last Friday was the wedding day for Jesika and Art. Jesika and Art are a young and fun couple. I was lucky to know them through Stacy Gavino of Cherishing Moments. We started the day at a downtown men’s only hair studio for the guys’ shaving party. Yeah, guys got pampered (and their nails polished). Then we headed to Hotel 1000 (a very cool hotel) where the ladies were already there. But since Jesika and Art didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, we made sure there was on accidental encounter. There I got to meet Jesika’s beautiful bridesmaids and the cute flower girl. Later, a limo came and picked up the guys and gals in separate trips to Pier 66, the cite for the ceremony. The ceremony was held at the roof top of Pier 66 and officiated by Reverend Ray. The view was gorgerious and near the end of the ceremony, the setting sun was casting a orange warm light on the couple. It was just beautiful.

The reception was held at Pravda Studio in Capital Hill. That was my second time to the studio and I really like it. Stacy and her team did a great job decorate the place and set up the catered foods. Mike Bozinski of My Life Time Event did a great job of making the party going.
