Lisa and Yoann Wedding…with Some Euro Flavors

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

Yoann is from France. Lisa teaches French locally. It was the ‘French Connection’ that got them together and eventually tied the knots at the majestic Blessed Sacrament Church and later celebrated up at the Space Needle with great views. The ceremony was traditional American style but there were definitely some French flavors during the reception! Many Yoann’s family members and friends came all the way, for the first time, to Seattle to celebrate this special event. French songs were singing and cheese, lots of them, were served. It was a very fun and special event!

Lisa got help from her sister

Kristy & Rebecca - an Intimate Wedding

Sunday, July 13th, 2008

It was last Monday morning. The trip started with a nice ferry ride to Bainbridge Island and a 20 minutes drive took me to The Green Cat Guest House B&B, a very pretty and cozy place with spacious yards, wooded areas on all site of the house. It was an ideal venue for a private gathering. Kristy and Rebecca had their beautiful wedding held there.

I started at the Waterfront Hair Gallery where Kristy & Rebecca got their hairs done and then went back to Green Cat B&B. Under the watchful eyes of Bridgett, their friend and the ‘unofficial’ coordinator, things were moving along smoothly. We then headed out to the beach for more photographs, on time!

The ceremony was unique…their friends and guests would come up during the ceremony and tie a colored ribbon on their wrists while they were holding their hands together. Very nice!
